Day 28, 29, 30

Sunday morning I dusted off the mandolin and began to slice up potatoes and then the REAL CHEF stepped in and helped me out with the rest of brunch. Soooo good!

Not sure if you can tell, but this is Jace trying to skateboard...on his itty bitty toy skateboard! Hilarious!

This day I wanted to take a couple of pictures with my little man...he was being silly the whole time, but I still love how they turned out!

Day 27

Photobucket

With the temperatures being in the high 30's the last few days, we have taken advantage of being outside! Not only did I get out today to vacuum the car and chisel the ice in our driveway, the kids made a whole family of snowmen after school!

Day 26

Photobucket

We love to play the Wii Just Dance (1&2) and the girls always surprise me with their awesome dance moves...oh you should see Jace let loose too!

Day 25

Photobucket

Bella drew quite the picture after school today...and boy was she proud! She typically takes a backseat to Lauren and her artistic skills, but today she showed us she's got it in her! BEAUTIFUL, just beautiful!

Day 24

Photobucket

This would be the girls' FAVORITE after school snack EVA! They love my homemade parfaits and they are soooooo simple! Yogurt, any kind of cereal (I mix ours up using Oatmeal and anything from Cheerios to Captain Crunch) and any fruit you have on hand. Layer away and you're done!

Day 23

Photobucket

Trying out my new caramel machiato drizzle...mmmmm, was it delish!

Day 22

Photobucket

Yes...this little guy loves to hang out right under my feet! When I'm working in the kitchen, a lot of times he brings his favorite blankies and a pillow over and parks it right in the middle of the floor! Now I totally love having him right there with me...that is until I accidentally step on him or slip on the blanket and almost go down...OUCH!

Day 21

Photobucket

Sooooooo lovin my new birthday shoes! Jamie custom designed them from NIKE and man do I love them. Notice my nickname on the back, too???

Day 19 & 20

I love when the girls come home from school and they've learned something new...I get to hear all about it!! This day Lauren came home and was so excited to show us that her class was now learning cursive. She even gave Bella a quick lesson on how to do "h". She was so patient with her.

And today was my birthday...hubby and the kids had these beautiful roses delivered! I couldn't wait to take a few pictures of them...and the light was just perfect!

Photobucket

Day 15

Had to make these yummy muffins...the kids love them frozen! But if you're lookin for a good apple muffin recipe, Paula Dean sure knows how to make em!

And since I had a can of pumpkin sitting in my pantry, I went ahead and made pumpkin chocolate chip bread...another favorite of my children!

Day 14

She's Tough!
This was Bella's second Acro Show of the week. They do a cute dance to "All the Single Ladies", do some running/jumping and then end in a pyramid with the High School girls doing giant flips over them. This picture of Bella is right after she got taken down by the big finale jump! The last girl to flip over the girls didn't get up as high as she should've so unfortunately she came down early and clipped Bella...sending the pyramid down rather quickly. It freaked me out though, cause I didn't really see it happen (too busy looking at my camera) but everyone else that saw it really reacted! She cried for a split second...probably from shock! But she got right back in there and finished off the show. She's our tough cookie!

Here's the last pic I got before the big fall...

Day12/13

Jace had his 2nd birthday, so he deserves two days in a row! We kept it low key and had family members over for cake. After 3 kids it doesn't seem prudent to spend all sorts of money on elaborate birthday parties, especially when they won't remember a darn thing! The funny thing with Jace and his cake was that every time Jamie lit the candle, he'd blow it out really fast before we could sing to him...so I couldn't get one shot with him blowing out his candle! Day 13 is Jace playing with a new toy that he thoroughly enjoys. Lots of new play things to keep him busy!

Day 11

So recently I've seen a few FB friends from San Antonio talk about how c-c-c-c-c-c-cold it is down there! Well how about these temps up here in North Dakota???? Check out my phone and see for yourself the 5 day forcast (how about those lows?)! Weather like ours is the pits. It's not fun feeling the chill all day, cold nose, cold feet, you know! It's just down right depressing. But hey...once the weather warms up in the spring and summer, we are all happy to be outside and playing lots of golf. Hurry spring, hurry!

Photobucket

After School...

Usually consists of drawing for the girls (Lauren especially). She barely gets her stuff put away and she's grabbing paper and a pencil. Right now she's learning about Dinosaurs at school, so we've got a ton of dino pics all over the house! So happy that she's creative and artsy!

Day 9

I did not make him clean house! He loves to get the vacuum out and go at it, but today was operation take down Christmas STUFF and he really wanted to help out! So we let him. I don't know if he actually got anything off of the floor, but he sure was cute trying :-)

Day 7 & 8

Bella had a mini-meet for gymnastics. First one of the season. First time I've been up before 7 a.m. in a while. She did great and earned 5 ribbons. We are so proud of her! On a side note...she bit into an apple this evening (the 8th) and loosened up her first tooth! She is 6 1/2 and hasn't lost a tooth yet. She was so excited she worked on that tooth the rest of the evening! I bet the tooth fairy will be making an appearance in the next day or two!
And here I am showing off my new PROJECT LIFE kit that is going to help me keep all of my 365 photos organized! This is going rather smoothly so far...love this project!!

Day 5 & 6

Our typical weekday morning...dashing out of the house at 8:35. Everyone bundled up...mom and Jace still in jammies (unless we're going straight to the gym)!
On this particular day...the Christmas clutter was getting to me! It made me want to clean every closet and throw/donate half of our house! Too much stuff is not healthy! Unfortunately, the table is still like this, but I promise in one week...it will all be put away. Hopefully!

Day 4

Here's the little guy checkin out a Birthday Supply Catalog...and sure enough he's drooling over all of the Yo Gabba Gabba stuff!

Photobucket

Love it...pink boots and a Hockey helmet!

If it's not Thomas the Train...it's anything Toy Story!

A favorite breakfast item is non other than...TOAST!

Let's get this thing started...

So I'm 4 days behind (or 3)...but I am using pics that were taken on the actual corresponding day! So here goes!!

and a few bonus shots from the day...Jamie cooked his tradional New Years Day dinner: Ham, Black Eyed Peas (for good luck), cornbread, etc. D-LISH!

The sun was perfect and pouring in...here's one that I adore!
and the girls bundled up and went out for some snow time...brrrr it was cold out!
